Due to the fact that PDA programs and e-docs are of very small file sizes, they will not usually be compressed in a ZIP file. They will commonly come in the original file. Which means no other preparations are needed.

To install the programs or e-docs,

1. Open the Palm Desktop program installed in your computer
    
2. Click on the "Install" button
    
3. A dialog box with the caption "Install Tool" will show up. Click on the "Add" button
    
4. Browser to the particular file and click "Open" (Note that files with the extensions ".prc" and ".pdb" are usually working application and database file for Palm handhelds.)
    
5. The file will be added to the list box. To continue adding, just click "Add" and browser for the file again.
    
6. When finished, click "Done". The files will be installed during the next HotSync.
